Mole & Skin Lesion Removal

Removed cleanly, but only once we know what it is.

We benign skin lesions, moles, and skin lesions removal using laser ablation. It's precise, quick, and generally leaves a better cosmetic result than excision, because it doesn't require stitches.

Lesions we can treat

Skin tags. Seborrhoeic keratoses. Milia. Cherry angiomas. Benign raised moles. Warts and verrucae. Xanthelasma.

The part that matters most

We do not remove any lesion that hasn't been properly assessed first. Removing an undiagnosed pigmented lesion with a laser destroys the tissue, which means it can't be sent for histology. If that lesion was an early melanoma, the diagnosis is lost and the delay can be serious. Some clinics will remove a mole on request. We won't.

How assessment mole & skin lesion removal

Every lesion is examined before anything is planned. If there is any suspicion, irregular borders, colour variation, recent change in size or shape, bleeding, itching, or asymmetry, we will not treat it. We'll refer you to your GP or a dermatologist, and if it needs removing, it should be excised surgically and sent to a laboratory. If a lesion is clearly benign, we'll say so and treat it.

Any removal leaves some mark. Laser usually leaves a small flat pale area that continues to fade over months, but skin type affects healing, and darker skin tones carry a higher risk of pigment change at the site. We'll tell you what to realistically expect for your skin before you decide.

Free consultation and lesion assessment. If it needs a dermatologist rather than us, that's what we'll tell you.
