Vitamin C and arbutin serum for dullness and uneven tone. It pairs the antioxidant work of vitamin C with arbutin, which interrupts pigment production, so it goes after the cause of dark marks as well as the general dullness sitting over them.

Apply to clean, dry skin in the morning, before moisturiser and sunscreen. This is the treatment serum in the Obagi-C Fx system, and it is the one doing most of the work on tone. Pigment responds slowly, so allow twelve weeks and keep the sunscreen daily throughout, because sun exposure will put back what the serum has taken months to fade.
