Lightweight foaming cleanser with 2% salicylic acid for blemish-prone and oily skin. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, which means it gets into the pore rather than working only on the surface, and that is what makes it the useful acid for congestion and blackheads.

Use it once or twice a day, and start with once a day if your skin is at all dry or reactive, because a salicylic cleanser twice daily alongside other actives is a fast route to a stripped barrier. Follow with a light moisturiser, which blemish-prone skin still needs. It works on congestion, blackheads and the occasional breakout. Persistent, painful or scarring acne is a different problem and deserves an assessment rather than a cleanser, so come and talk to us.
