Apply after cleansing and toning, then finish with sunscreen, because acid exfoliation makes skin more sun sensitive and daily SPF is part of using this correctly. Build up gradually rather than starting daily if your skin is at all reactive. This is the oily and normal skin version. If your skin is dry, tight or easily irritated, the standard Exfoderm is the right choice, and stepping up to Forte because it sounds more effective is a common way to damage a barrier.
