A short focused ultrasound treatment that tightens the tissue above the brow, lifting the brow slightly and making the eyes look more open. We stay clear of the temple and the eye socket, where nerves and vessels sit close to the surface. This gives a subtle lift, not the result of a surgical brow lift, and it will not fix a heavy upper lid caused by excess skin. Results build over two to three months and vary between individuals. It suits a brow that has dropped a little with age, in someone whose skin quality is still reasonable. It does not suit a genuinely hooded upper lid caused by excess skin, which is a surgical problem, and we will tell you that at the consultation rather than take the booking. There is little downtime and most people go straight back to work. Brief heat and a prickling along the brow bone during the treatment is normal, and tenderness for a few days afterwards is common.
