Focused ultrasound aimed at fullness under the chin and softness along the jawline, delivered on the Ultra 4D Platinum. A deeper cartridge reaches the fat layer beneath the chin and a 4.5mm cartridge tightens at the SMAS above it. It suits mild to moderate fullness where skin quality is still reasonable. It is not a weight loss treatment and it does not match what surgery achieves. Results build over two to three months and vary between individuals. Assessment matters more here than almost anywhere else on the face. Fullness under the chin can be fat, loose skin, a low sitting salivary gland, or simply the position of the jaw itself, and only the first two respond to focused ultrasound. We will tell you which one we think you have before you book anything. There is little downtime. Expect brief heat and a prickling along the jawbone during the treatment, then tenderness or slight puffiness under the chin for a few days. Most people go back to work the same day.
