High-intensity focused ultrasound delivered on the Ultra 4D Platinum, which carries a full cartridge range from 1.5mm to 13mm. Heat is delivered to a precise depth beneath the skin, triggering your own collagen production over the following two to three months. Suits mild to moderate laxity. The depth is chosen for the tissue being treated rather than applied uniformly. The superficial cartridges work within the skin itself, the deeper ones reach the layer that surgery lifts. That is why the assessment matters more than the number of shots you are quoted. There is little downtime. Most people find it uncomfortable rather than painful, described as brief heat and a prickling along the bone. Tenderness for a few days afterwards is normal. One session is usual, reviewed at three months. HIFU will not correct heavy jowls or significant loose skin, and where surgery is the honest answer we say so. Results vary between individuals. It is not suitable during pregnancy, with an active skin infection or open wound in the area, or with metal implants or recent filler in the treatment zone.
