Photorejuvenation across the full face on the Lumenis Stellar M22, a modular platform carrying IPL with Optimal Pulse Technology alongside ResurFX, Nd:YAG and Q-switched modules. Treats sun damage, pigmentation, redness and uneven texture. Pigmentation usually needs a course rather than a single session, and sun protection afterwards is essential. A consultation and a patch test come first, and both are free. Treatment is not suitable on recently tanned skin, after sunbed use, or where something you are taking makes your skin sensitive to light, which is one of the things we check before booking you in. Expect the treated area to look pink and feel warm for a few hours. Pigmented marks usually darken first and flake away over the following week rather than vanishing on the day. Most people have between three and six sessions, three to four weeks apart, then return once or twice a year to hold the result.
