IPL & Laser: Small Area
Single area. Patch test always included.
Service Description
Targeted light treatment on the Lumenis Stellar M22 for a single small area, such as the cheeks, the nose, the upper lip, the backs of the hands or a patch of sun damage on the chest. Useful when one area is the problem and a full face treatment is more than you need. The wavelength and settings are chosen for your skin type and for what is actually being treated, because pigment and blood vessels absorb light differently. Most areas need a course of three to six sessions, spaced three to four weeks apart. Mild redness for a few hours afterwards is normal, and pigmented spots often darken before they lift, which is expected rather than a problem. Every treatment begins with a skin type assessment and patch test, at no charge. If light is not the right answer for your skin, we will say so. IPL is not suitable during pregnancy, on recently tanned skin, or while taking medication that makes the skin sensitive to light. Deeper skin tones carry a higher risk of pigment change, another reason the assessment comes first. Wear SPF 50 daily through the course.
