Service Description

A targeted treatment for the periorbital area, combining regenerative actives to improve fine lines, dark circles and skin quality around the eyes. The skin around the eye is the thinnest on the face and behaves differently from the rest of it, which is why treatments designed for the cheek often disappoint there. It works on skin quality rather than on volume. If your dark circles come from a hollow rather than from thin, crepey skin, this is the wrong treatment and a different approach will suit you better. Dark circles have several causes and only some of them respond to injections, which is what the assessment is for. A course of two to four sessions, spaced two to three weeks apart, is usual. Expect small raised bumps for a few hours, and bruising, which is common in this area. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection or cold sore near the eye, or within two weeks of another injectable treatment in the same area. Avoid make-up on the area for twelve hours, and skip exercise, saunas and alcohol for the rest of the day.
