Voluma is the Juvéderm volumiser, a firmer gel placed deep, close to the bone, to replace the support that the cheeks lose with age. Restoring the cheek often lifts the lower face a little too, which is why it is frequently the first area we treat. It is also used to build up a short or receding chin and to fill hollow temples. The aim is to put back what was there. If you bring in a photo from ten years ago, that helps us more than a celebrity picture. Results commonly last eighteen months or longer, because the gel sits deep in an area that moves less. Tenderness and swelling for a few days are normal. Like all hyaluronic acid fillers it can be dissolved, and a dissolving agent is kept on site. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection in the area, or if you have reacted to a hyaluronic acid filler before. We do not treat anyone under 18. Most cheeks need more than 1ml, and we will tell you how much at the free assessment in East Finchley. Price is per 1ml.
