Performed on the 1NEED Pro, an Italian made medical device holding Class IIB medical certification and FDA clearance, with a NOFLOW anti-backflow system that prevents cross contamination between clients. Creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger collagen and elastin production. We do not use radiofrequency microneedling. We are not yet satisfied with the long term safety data. Numbing cream goes on first and needs about twenty minutes to work, so allow a little longer than the treatment time for a first visit. Needle depth is set by area and by what is being treated, shallower across the forehead and around the eyes, deeper over acne scarring on the cheeks. Expect to look as though you have mild sunburn for a day, sometimes two. Makeup can go back on after 24 hours. Avoid the gym, saunas and direct sun in the meantime, and use sun protection daily afterwards. Three to six sessions four weeks apart is typical for scarring and texture, fewer for general skin quality. It is not suitable over active acne, eczema or infection in the treatment area, or where you have a history of keloid scarring. Assessed free at our clinic in East Finchley.
