Profhilo is not a filler. It is a high-concentration hyaluronic acid that spreads through the tissue to hydrate and stimulate your own collagen and elastin, improving skin quality rather than changing facial shape. Injected using the BAP technique, tailored to where your skin has actually lost support. A course of two sessions four weeks apart is standard. It is placed at five points on each side of the face, chosen so the product can spread safely and evenly. It is also used on the neck, the chest and the backs of the hands, which age early and are usually ignored. Expect a small raised bump at each injection point for a few hours, occasionally into the next day. There is no downtime beyond that. The change is in how the skin behaves rather than in the shape of the face, so if what you want is more projection in the cheek or a sharper jawline, filler is the honest answer and we will tell you so.
