Calcium hydroxylapatite. Provides immediate structure and stimulates collagen over the months that follow, making it well suited to jawline definition. Can also be used hyperdiluted to tighten crepey skin. Please note this treatment is not reversible. It sits between the two other options. Unlike a collagen stimulator alone you see structure on the day, and unlike hyaluronic acid that structure is followed by a collagen response over the following months. Hyperdiluted it is used differently again, spread thinly across an area such as the neck, the chest or the backs of the hands, to improve skin quality rather than to add shape. Because it cannot be dissolved, placement matters more than it does with a reversible product, and we are deliberately conservative with it. Expect swelling for several days. We assess first, and say so if it is the wrong choice for you. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active skin infection or inflammation in the area, or if you have reacted to a filler before.
