Sculptra® 2 vials

Service Description

Two vials of Sculptra in a single appointment, for more extensive volume restoration. Results develop over the following months as new collagen forms. Please note this treatment is not reversible. Two vials suit wider areas of facial thinning, typically the temples and cheeks together, where one vial would be spread too thinly to do much. As with a single vial, what you see on the day is largely water and settles within about a week. The change you are paying for builds over two to three months as collagen forms, and a course is usual rather than a one-off. Because it is not reversible, the assessment carries more weight than it does with hyaluronic acid. We would rather decline the treatment than place a collagen stimulator in a face that does not need it. Massage afterwards matters, and we will show you how. Sculptra is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if there is active infection or inflammation in the area, or if you tend to form raised scars. Expect some swelling, tenderness and possible bruising for a few days afterwards. Consultations at our East Finchley clinic are free, and we will tell you whether two vials is the right amount.
